I am the mum of two handsome men, a wife, daughter, sister, and a teacher!

I was born in Colombia and lived there for many years.  I learnt from my parents and my environment to have a creative, imaginative and resourceful mind.

​

My mum passed onto me the joy of sewing, textiles and being an entrepreneur: and from my dad I inherited the discipline, passion and looking beyond.

​

Only later in my life I discovered the potential of sewing whilst sewing scrubs as a volunteer during the COVID pandemic in 2020 for my local hospital in London.

​

I am a retired teacher, and currently I am an Improvement Practitioner in a College in London.  I work in the Quality Assurance Team, providing training and support on Learning Technologies for Teaching and Learning.  

 

I devote all my spare time after work and weekends, to get inspired, and to design and  create items out of recycled textiles from charity shops.  I repurpose fabric, wood, trims and other items onto unique pieces to create fashion and accessories with an eco-friendly style.
